I have the good fortune to be able to speak at charities and at young people’s clubs and organizations. All of the above are either Republican forums or Armed Forces Organizations, such as the VFW’s etc.

It’s a volunteers job and something that I do as payback to my country. The country that I adore. I spent 4 years of my life as a junior officer in the US Army, both here in the States and over seas as well.

 You often hear people complain about the time they spent serving in the Army, but not me. I can honestly say that some of the best experiences in my life were during the time I was in the service. I saw the world, I made so many life time friends and I just know that I would have never been able to do so many of those things if it hadn’t been for the time I spend in the service.

Anyway, I’m getting off subject here. What really wanted to write about was “time”.

My regular “money making job” you know, the one that I need to support my family and my life style, allows me the time to travel and do the work I love to do.  Speak to my fellow Americans about our country and how important it is to be a Good American. Not to just to take and never give back.  I see so many people these days that come from other countries to make money and just send it back out of the country. to as they say “their country” .

This sort of thing drives me crazy, they live here, work here take, take, and take and still call the place they came from, “their country”

Ok, ok, I’m rambling again.

Do you have enough time in your day, in your week to do want it is you love? I make sure that I do, even if it takes losing some sleep time, then so be it. I get up at 5:30 to 6:00 AM every day and I don’t get home some nights till 8:00PM. But I get my work done.

That reminds me of the first time I went to Japan, I was with one of my colleagues who was showing me around Tokyo. It was about 7 or 8 o’clock at night and as we passed a large office building, I noticed many of the offices had their lights on. I called it to the attention of my colleague and asked ” what time to they go home”?  He answered, “when they finish their work”  That my friend was very impressive.

So I leave you with this thought. In the time it took me to write this blog, I could have been raking up the leaves on my lawn.

Lets face it, If the democratic’s had any brains at all they would be Conservatives.  But right now, lets talk about their Poster Boy Jimmy Carter, for a few minutes. If there was an award for the person that managed to screw up the Presidency most, I would have to nominate Jimmy Carter for first place..Let us count the ways,…From giving away the Panama Canal, to being responsible for the fall of the Shah of Iran to the Ayatoilet Cockamamie and the establishment of that insane Moslem dictatorship.Jimmy Carter did more to aid the cause of radical fundamentalist Islam than any other American President, first by not helping the Shah of Iran when Khomeini deposed him; second by doing nothing during the hostage crisis.Are you old enough to remember gas lines blocks long while Jimmy was President? And do you remember when the just inaugurated new President Ronald Reagan signed the deregulation of the price of oil as his very first act? And Jimmy and the DEMOCRATS just about predicted the fall of the USA. But guess what? The price of oil and gasoline dropped lower than ever and the dollar became the strongest in its’ history. Talk about Commi lovers, Jimmy literally kissed that miserable ugly Leonid Bezhnev, Russian dictator on the cheek. And didn’’t he brown-nose that Cuban Dictator Castro? It was disgusting. But yes, he was a Nobel prize winner. That deed alone along with Yassa Arofat’’s receiving it brought the Award to a new all time LOW

America can’t afford two more years of his incompetent leadership on Iraq,” Kennedy says. He did not use the word impeachment, although other Democrats have. Kennedy does mention that Democrats “will stand up to George Bush and his disastrous foreign policy,” something they are doing right now.Let’s start with you Ted!

 Out of curiosity, I wondered into a Political chat room on Yahoo one night last week looking for an intelligent debate. What I got was a series of insults and prayers for my early and untimely death. Just for expressing my opinion in a chat room, I was called “asshole” and told to “F- off” and informed that I “should do the world a favor and kill myself.” Each and every time I would confront one of the Kerry supporters with facts, I was answered with “F-you Angel” Now, I’m an ex-Marine, so I assure you, I’ve heard much worse. And the insults didn’t bother me one bit. In fact, I thought it was funny. When confronted with truth, the only responses from the Kerry supports were curse words. And they accused me of being uneducated and uninformed.  (talk about the pot calling the  kettle black). They refused to debate any issue. I pleaded with them to pick an issue, Social Security, Healthcare, Terrorism, anything they wanted. I’d ask one question, and the response would be “Angel, you suck!” I was very disappointed in that I had hoped for a serious debate and all I got was rhetoric and hate speech. I want you to think back to the coverage of both conventions. The protests in the streets in Boston and New York were filled with protest signs. I noticed at the Republican convention, numerous signs filled with hate speech such as “Abort Bush” and “F-You Bush.” I don’’t recall seeing one hate speech sign in reference to Kerry at the democratic convention in Boston. Point number one, is that the best argument they can come up with?

Point number two, that type of language doesn’t promote peace, it promotes anger. Where is the Peace and Love?

New Yorkers overwhelmingly supported the law. [2]
The 2004 Zagat New York City Restaurant Survey of nearly 30,000 New York restaurant-goers found that 23 percent of respondents said they are eating out more often because of the city’s smoke-free workplace law, while only four percent said they are eating out less. Zagat’s press release concluded:

“The city’s recent smoking ban, far from curbing restaurant traffic, has given it a major lift.”

So I think that we should applaud the Mayor of New York and every other Mayor and Governor that has the GUTS to put this NO Smoking law into effect.

And the most important thing is that I enjoy the restaurant scene more now.
 

Over and over again, we’ve heard there is no link between Iraq and al Qaeda. The left has
told us that. The 9/11 Commission told us that. And regardless if al Qaeda was in Iraq
before we went in, they are most certainly there now and that alone is enough reason for
me. But I digress…

. The link to al Qaeda is not my real concern as to why we went to war in Iraq. Neither are Weapons of Mass Destruction. It’s well known that everyone believed Saddam had WMDs. French intelligence, Russian intelligence,
British intelligence all said so. Hell even John Kerry, Bill and Hillary Clinton told us
Saddam had them. It’s my belief the Bush Administration used that as an argument for
war because it was the one thing that everyone agreed on. But I don’t care about WMDs
either so, I’ll concede that point as well. Stay with me, this may take a while.

We were viciously attacked on 9/11 by an enemy that set out to kill as many civilian
Americans as they could. Yes, they targeted the Pentagon, but their other targets included
the World Trade Center, an office building filled with civilians. There are reports that they
had targets on the west coast as well, all civilian. I’m still amazed that we only lost nearly
3000 people on that day. It’s nothing short of miraculous that is all we lost considering
two of the largest sky scrapers in the world came crashing down. We were attacked by an
enemy because of a hatred that runs so deep that those 19 hijackers didn’t hesitate to die
in killing as many of us as they could. Think about that. Have you ever hated someone so
much, someone you didn’t even know, that you were willing to die in order to kill them?
I’ve hated maybe two people in my life. And I wouldn’t pay $10 to have them killed much
less kill myself in order to kill them. This is a kind of hatred that we as a people can’t
possibly comprehend, much less understand.

These are the same types of people we are fighting in Iraq. We’re not fighting rebels, or
freedom fighters. We’re really not even really fighting insurgents. The term rebel or
insurgent implies fighting against one’s own government. If these terrorists were true
insurgents, they would have to be, by definition, Iraqi. And I think it’s clear that the people
we’re fighting in Iraq are not Iraqi. Sure, there may be some Bathists or some members
of Saddam’s old regime that are acting as foot soldiers, but the majority of the killing is
being done by people that aren’t even from Iraq. They’re from Jordan, or Saudi Arabia, and
Egypt. But the leaders of the so called insurgency aren’t from Iraq. So it’s not like we
invaded their homeland and are imposing our way of life on them. We didn’t go to Jordan
or Egypt. But they’ve come to Iraq. And they have come to kill, period. They’ve gone out of
their way to come and kill as many people as they can. Not just American soldiers and
Marines, oh no. They’re specifically targeting civilians and killing more Iraqis than Americans. Would a true rebellion kill its own people? No it would not. These people
just want to kill. They don’t care who. They don’t care how. They just want to kill. They’re
not insurgents. They’re terrorists. Think about that as you continue to read.

During the campaign, the so called Vietnam War hero, Senator John Kerry, criticized the
administration for not securing the borders of Iraq and allowing these terrorists to come
into Iraq. I submit to you that was the plan all along. My theory is the military commanders
in Iraq advised President Bush that this was the best way to fight the larger war on terror.
This way, we accomplish multiple objectives. First, we free 25 million people from a
dangerous dictator who had funded terrorists. We knew that he was paying the families of
Palestinian suicide bombers $25,000 in cash. That was widely reported in the news but
somehow everyone has seemed to have forgotten that. He was not in compliance with an
agreement he signed. People seemed to have forgotten that as well. How many U.S.
Fighter planes were shot down over the no-fly zone in the 90′s? How many times had the
UN warned him? I believe there were 12 warnings. 12! Do you warn your kid 12 times?
Hell no! And I’m just guessing your kid never ran a torture chamber or filled a mass grave
with women and children. If he had complied, he would still be in power today. He chose
defiance and he lost. I have no sympathy for fools. And he clearly fits that description.

Second, we set the stage for the war on terror. We set the stage, not the terrorists. By
going to war in Iraq, we sent out an invitation to every nut job jihadist in the Middle East
saying come on in and take your best shot. We centralized the war on terror instead of
trying to chase down every known terrorist all over the world and arresting him. And we
centralized it 9000 miles away from us. We did that by leaving the borders open, knowing
that if we are there, they will come. And come they have. I say leaving the borders open
was freaking brilliant. Of course the administration can’t flaunt that plan because that
would upset some Iraqis for obvious reasons. Plus, you don’t advertise the fact that you
want terrorists to come to Iraq. You just let them come on their own. And they have come
and the truth of the matter is, the roadside bombs are going off on Iraqi roads, not
American roads. The suicide bombers are walking into restaurants in Baghdad, not New
York City. Sounds pretty good to me. The plan is working.

Third, by liberating Iraq and establishing a clear democracy in that region of the world, we
set the wheels of democracy in motion in a region that knows nothing of freedom. They
know neither its value or its meaning. And believe me, once the Iraqis know if its value,
others in the region will take note. I submit to you that over time, a successful and free
Iraq will encounter the same type of border control problems that we have right here in the
U.S. Why do you think we have such an influx of Mexicans streaming into our country?
They’re seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Is it so hard to believe the
same thing can happen in Iraq?

Those three objectives are being met. Yes, a lot slower than we’d all like, but it is
happening. We are capturing or killing those who want as many of us dead as possible.
And we’re not living in fear of a suicide bomber walking in on our kids pizza parties. We’re
not worried about a suicide bomber walking into the shopping malls where our teenage
daughters are spending their time. I submit to you the left would change their tune if they
were afraid to drop their daughters off at the mall or send their sons to Chucky Cheese for
a birthday party.

We consistently hear from those who oppose the war, that this war is wrong. That we
attacked a country that posed no threat to us. We hear from the left that the President lied
and concocted the war for political gain. We’ve even heard wacko theories that President
Bush knew about 9/11 ahead of time. And that was from a potential Presidential nominee
and the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Our soldiers have been called Nazis and criminals by one of our very own Senators and you know very well who they are! I don’t have to start naming that bunch all over again. . We have been successfully divided
on this war, not by our enemy, but by our own leaders. You’ve heard the phrase “divide
and conquer.” Well, the division of this country is playing right into the hands of our
enemy. The division is being caused by political rhetoric and a political agenda of our
own elected officials. What is truly sad is some of the very people that voted to send our
troops into harms way have now turned their back the very people they sent.

We are told by the left that they support the troops but not the mission. Yeah right Dick Durben and Harry Reid. Well, you can’t support the troops without supporting the mission. Damn it, don’t you understand that? This mission is a defining event in their lives. This mission is a part of who they are. I have not heard a single trooper come back from Iraq without being proud of the work that is being done. This mission is a source of pride for them. This mission will have profound affect on their lives. They will see and do things that will change them forever. They will rejoice in their victories and they will cry over their losses. They face death every single day during this mission. They are willing to die for this mission. If you tell them you don’t support it, you may as well tell them they are willing to die for no reason. Nothing can be more demoralizing or humiliating to a man than to tell him you don’t support what he’s willing to die for. It is impossible to support the troops if you are constantly trying to undermined his mission.
And that’s exactly what the left in this country is doing. And it sickens me to no end. So the
next time you hear someone at the office say they support the troops but not the mission,
call them on it. And tell them what you’ve read here.

Bottom line: We are at war with an enemy that will not quit. They have no regards for the
sanctity of human life, not even their own. If we think for one moment that pulling out of
Iraq will make them like us again, we are sadly mistaken. They will never like us. They
will never live and let live. They teach their children to hate us and they expect those
children to teach the same things to the next generation. This problem is not just going to
go away. We have to win. Let me tell you, you don’t win a war by underestimating your
enemy. You don’t win a war by trying to be liked. You don’t win a war by fighting amongst
yourselves. You win a war by standing together and taking on every challenge that war
presents. You take those challenges head on and with overwhelming force. You win a
war by putting politics aside and having faith in your leaders. We have the best military in
the world. We have the smartest people in the world. And if World War II taught us
anything, it taught us that we can accomplish anything if we work together. We can win
this war. This war that they started on September 11th 2001.
So to sum it up, Hillary, Kennedy Durbin, Reid, Murther ,Gore Polisi and the rest of you, Shut the hell up and let the rest of US do the job right!

Almost every day these’s a new magnet and new theme for a new cause.

I saw one the other day that said “John Paul II, RIP” and had his picture. What does a dumb ribbon have to do with the dead Pope?! People are morons, and this whole ribbon thing is the scientific evidence that proves it. Let’s analyze, shall we? The Pope ribbon magnet came out, no doubt, because of the success of the “Support the Poops” ribbon magnet. There are many varieties of the “Support the Dupes” ribbon magnets, but the original was the yellow ribbon. Why? Because back during some previous war (I don’t remember which one, they’re all the same anyway), some dumbasses decided to tie yellow ribbons around trees because they thought that doing so would keep their husbands from getting killed (and also cure the herpes they got from the bagboy at the grocery store, and while you’re at it, make sure the baby is born about 3 months premature and not too hispanic looking). And yes, because some guy made a song about it and made himself a million dollars on that hit. This incredibly asinine act got on the news somehow (right after the late-breaking story about the adorable kittens that were adopted by a sweet old lady), and spread like wildfire across the less educated parts of the nation. But what is the significance of yellow ribbons being tied around trees? Well, for those not “fortunate” enough to experience 70′s mainstream culture, it comes from the song “Tie a Yellow Ribbon” by Tony Orlando and Dawn. For cripes sake, it’s about a guy getting out of prison!!!
Well folks, I support the war I support helping charities and I don’t like Aids or Brest cancer or any other sickness. But I don’t wear any of those dumb liberal ribbons and I never will. If you sheep want to, go ahead, but look in the mirror at how stupid you look. Unless you want to look like the liberal movie stars that think it’s soooo Cool

POLITICAL PONTIFICATOR (or possibly POLITICAL FORNICATOR)

Here’s my point…just because I’m really intelligent and I can design and build smokestacks, why should you be ambushed and forced to listen to me and my political rants simply because you happen to stop by my office to place an order for a 250 foot tall stack?

I say not, but…

Miss Streisand, for some reason, seems to think that if you and I decide to show up at one of her concerts that she, just like the Dixie Twits Dixie Chicks, should be allowed to make uncontested political commentary to all of the unsuspecting patrons when the tickets were actually sold for the purpose of presenting a musical concert.

There was Streisand, enduring a smattering of loud jeers as she and “George Bush” — a celebrity impersonator — muddled through a skit that portrayed the president as a bumbling idiot.

Though most of the crowd offered polite applause during the slightly humorous routine, it had gone on a bit too long, especially for those who just wanted to hear Streisand sing like she had been doing for the past hour.

“Come on, be polite!” the well-known liberal implored during the sketch as she and “Bush” exchanged zingers. But one heckler wouldn’t let up. And finally, Streisand let him have it.

“Shut the F— up!” Streisand bellowed, drawing wild applause. “Shut up if you can’t take a joke!”

With that one F-word, the jeers ended. And the message was delivered — no one gets away with trying to upstage Barbra Streisand, especially not in her hometown.

Once the outburst (which Streisand later apologized for) was over, Streisand noted that “the artist’s role is to disturb,” and delivered a message of tolerance before launching into a serenely beautiful rendition of “Somewhere.” That put the focus back on what the audience came for — her voice, one of the greatest female instruments of her generation.

Obviously, I won’t be buying any tickets to her shows (although I like her acting and singing), but how the liberals like Miss Barbara can get all upset and start issuing profanity laced statements at their audiences while expecting Ann Coulter and other conservatives to put up with pies in the face and Columbia University students to be allowed to rush the stage at “Minute man” speeches is beyond me.

I guess that I’m just a miserable Poor Right Wing Conspirator!
